My son has a very large deep graze on his nose. How can I help pevent/reduce scarring?
The hospital have said it will scar and have put a dressing on. They said it is Ok as he is a boy (aged 9) and these things happen to boys. I imagine if this was the royal family or something they would have dermotologists preventing this. What can I do to help heal this well and reduce scarring? I heard manuka honey should be applied to it – has anyone ever done this? He has quite thin, light olive skin that usually scars easily anyway. Any help appreciated, thanks.
